After reading Whites in Muilticultural Education, I agree and disagree with some of the claims that were made. First of all, the article is slightly outdated so its an accurate depiction of what America is today. Even back in the 90's I don't believe racism was as strong as what Gary Howard is saying. In the article, Howard claims that America is still extremely racist and white Americans still descriminate against any other race. I understand that some white Americans are still racist but the majority are not. There are certain areas of the United States where racism still exsists but overall the United States has changed is now a multicultural society.
